As of 3pm today, I am officially done with spring semester and appropriately celebrated by going out for margaritas, chips +  guac with my two bestest school friends. Bring on SUMMATIME. Even though my summer will be anything but leisurely (I'll be working full-time + taking an intensive three-week summer illustration course), I am excited for sundresses, bike rides around the lake, outdoor patio happy hours and most importantly, a week-long vacation to Door County in July.

Plus, I really want to see The Great Gatsby movie this weekend (hence the classic Gatsby quote), despite its rampant bad reviews and my strong disdain for Beyonce's remixed version of Amy Winehouse's Back to Black on the movie soundtrack. Don't mess with Amy, even you Queen B.

Yes, summer, I am so glad you have finally arrived.

Can we please talk about Jennifer Lawrence for a moment?  I am pretty sure that after the Oscars this past Sunday, I officially have a new girl crush. She wins Academy Awards (I like to maintain a high, overachieving caliber of friends). She likes to eat (me too sister). And she says when she doesn't have to leave the house, then she's definitely not putting on pants (can I get an amen?!). My kinda lady. This article perfectly explains why we will be total BFFs in real life if we ever meet.

And seriously, how perfect is J.Law as the new face of Dior? Perfection, absolute perfection.
