Happy 2015 friends! I was going to share my 2015 goals / intentions with you all today, but I haven't quite figured them out yet... Ha! So instead, I'm kicking off a brand new year with a brand new design project I finished for the super cute Roseberry Children's Boutique.
Last fall, Jeni and Lucy—the two sisters behind Roseberry— contacted me looking for a rebrand for their kid's clothing shop. With cozy, wooly sweaters and other vibrant clothing + accessories from around the world, there's no way I could've ( or would've ) said no to this project. And just to ensure you learn at least one new thing today—mi chompita means "my little sweater" in Spanish ( just in case you were wondering ).
We started by crafting a new logo, where I put together digital, hand-lettered type with a bold color palette + a few simple, subtle patterns to make Roseberry pop. Then, we incorporated that same eye-catching pop in a few collateral pieces to round out the brand, including a hang tag and shopping bag. The result is a punchy and bright, kid-friendly brand that I hope you love as much as we do.
Now, we're currently working on bringing the above website mock-up to life so these ladies can start selling online. Because seriously, how cute are these clothes?!
And is it wrong I hope they sell them online in adult sizes?
Uh yeah... don't answer that.
This is so fantastic! It looks like it was such a fun client and project! Bravo!
Absolutely adorable—your work and the clothes!
